"In 10 steps to departure" - read here how everything works.
Steps 1 -3 are without obligations, from step 4 you are a participant, and with step 10 you go to the destination country!
Step 1 – "Choose"
Which country do you want to go to? Which program fits? When should it start?
You are free to decide all this!
Just browse through ehighschool.de and take a look at the different programs.
In step 1, this is a plan for the time being, can still be changed. For example, you can also get advice in step 3.
Or let us inform you now without obligation! For example, at an information meeting / consultant day - here you can find current dates.
Step 2 – "Apply"
What does "apply" mean?
With a non-binding "application" you inform ehighschool that you have a concrete desire to participate in a student exchange program.
And you provide some additional information about yourself, such as your report card grades.
An application is non-binding and free of charge.
You can apply online – it only takes about 3 minutes.
The non-binding and free application!
Step 3 – "speak"
Why a conversation?
Even if everything should be clear to you – a personal conversation is always good and should answer questions and convey information before such a big decision.
At an online conversation or – if possible – face-to-face meetings, an ehighschool employee can present the program to you (and your parents) in detail and answer open questions.
Step 4 – "Book"
Now everything is made clear!
Are you sure you want to participate?
Then you can make everything clear now. This can also be done online for the most part!:
You can create your personal booking documents online at any time! This is completely non-binding and free of charge and can also be repeated at any time.
These would then have to be printed, signed and sent to ehighschool – only then does it become binding.
Step 5 – "Introduce"
What can you tell your potential hosts about yourself?
introduce = introduce in the host country (i.e. where you want to go)
Why introduce?
After steps 1 – 4, ehighschool knows you, but not yet your future host family and the host school. For the two "other players" – and also for the employees in the destination country – you throw yourself into step 5 and make a "folder". These are forms in which some things are to be entered (and photos pasted in).
Because the people in your desired country want to get an idea of you before they decide to invite you to their place.
Since you can't go there in person every time someone is interested in you, you have to introduce yourself in writing.
